Today, Sultan + Shepard adorned the list of artists exclusively tied to Armada Music by signing with the Dutch record company. The Canadian duo, known worldwide for a plethora of acclaimed originals, major collaborations, and remixes for highly acclaimed artists and pop icons such as Bruno Mars and Madonna, inked a deal with the Amsterdam-based label.
Sultan + Shepard formed in 2008, after which their solid in-studio output and vibrant on-stage performances gained them international recognition. In the past five years, Sultan + Shepard worked with and/or remixed tunes from far-famed artists such as Kaskade, Tiësto, Lady Gaga, Nelly Furtado, Coldplay, Madonna, and more. In 2013, their remix of Bruno Mars’ ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ earned them a Grammy® nomination.
Last year, Sultan + Shepard got a taste of what an extensive collaboration with Armada Music would encompass. In September 2015, they touched down on the record company with ‘Bring Me Back’, a collaboration with Canadian singer Kreesha Turner. ‘Love Me Crazy’, the next Sultan + Shepard single to be released on Armada Music, features the distinct vocal tones of songstress Gia and will spark a continuous flow of new singles, set to drop onto Armada Music. All singles will be bundled in one EP later on. ‘Love Me Crazy’ is due out on July 15th.
