Sunburn City

We knew something special was definitely coming, looking at the way Sunburn kept unfolding its artist line-up. And this is surely special and beyond – as the headliners for Sunburn City Festival, Yellow Claw are also joined by Above and Beyond!

Above & Beyond is rearing to complete their 300th episode of the iconic ABGT radio show in Hong Kong, this September. Bengaluru was the home to the beginning of ABGT 001, which also marked the end of Trance Around The World 450! It will be a great comeback for the trio, especially to this city.

From developing that groundbreaking radio show to touring the world’s best clubs and most illustrious venues; from establishing a thriving, multi-artist label to building a peerless catalogue of artist albums; from creating iconic dance anthems to curating soulful acoustic re-rubs, one thing stands out.

That is: Above & Beyond have carved out a unique space in music and culture, one that reaches far beyond their electronic roots. In so doing, Jono, Paavo and Tony have created something special: a common ground where all sorts of people and ideas can come together. Celebration, kinship, community – it’s the A&B way.

Having released their fourth studio album, Common Grounds, earlier this year which became immensely popular, the British trio have also rocked hundreds of stages across the globe so far this year. On 26 January 2018, Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” radio show celebrated the album’s release by hosting Jono Grant of Above & Beyond to perform a one-hour-long guest mix for their 850th episode, where multiple tracks from Common Ground and label Anjunabeats were played during its duration.

The year has so far looked incredible for them and to be back on Indian soil, which has a huge band of fans waiting for them, it’s only going to get better! We really, really can’t wait for the festivals to kick-off!

Early bird tickets out on 26th of August 2018. Book them here.
