The BPM EMPOWERED Virtual Festival With a Powerful All-Women Lineup Will Feature Exclusive Sets and Industry Insights

Kicking off two days of music hosted and performed by a bunch of powerful women from the music industry, SiriusXM’s BPM EMPOWERED virtual festival began December 12th at 11:00 am EST and will run through the entire weekend through December 15. The event will also be rebroadcast the following week.

In addition to a power-packed line up of DJ’s including the likes of Alison Wonderland, REZZ, Krewella, Nervo, Anna Lunoe and many more, some of the top women who work behind the scenes in the dance music industry will share insights and spread words of inspiration and confidence. With this being BPM’s first event highlighting an exclusively female lineup of hosts, artists performances and DJ’s, it comes as a recognition of these powerhouse women.

In addition to the music, curated behind the scenes sections will include talks with Sirius XM’s Rida Naser, Billboard Dance’s Katie Bain, Armada’s Stephanie Karten, and many more.

Speaking about the vision behind the event, SiriusXM’s Naser explained to Dancing Astronaut saying,

“This festival is about empowered women, empowering women. SiriusXM is proud to continue to showcase the amazing range of women artists, DJs and dance/music industry professionals that contribute to keeping Dance Music alive and well, and wanted to provide a platform this weekend that did just that. By mixing in top artist talent and music with empowering stories from the women industry gatekeepers, this festival is designed to inspire the next generation of women.”

SiriusXM subscribers can listen to bpm on channel 51 via SiriusXM Radios, SiriusXM online, or on the SiriusXM app.
