The Rainbow Venues will host a series of club events over the August bank holiday weekend with its inaugural ‘Summer Chapter’ event.

The Summer Chapter will unveil a newly transformed warehouse space and is a summer rendition of the institute’s in-house metropolitan festival, Chapter festival, which takes place every spring.

Birmingham’s multi-space nightlife venue will host a series of club events over the August Bank Holiday weekend, including performances from Tale of Us, Pan-Pot, Marcel Dettmann and more.

Saturday, August 27th – Find the Blackdot – 10pm until late

One of The Rainbow Venues finest techno brands Blackdot returns for a new series and invites the world’s biggest techno artists to new, unused, secret spaces that are hidden amongst Birmingham’s industrial landscape.

Italian duo Tale of Us return to The Rainbow Venues to headline Saturday’s Summer Chapter. Bringing a raw and unique fusion of electronic sounds, Tale of Us will take the crowd into a darkened and pure techno rave.

Making his Rainbow debut, techno icon and Berghain (Berlin) regular Marcel Dettmann also bills the line-up. Having just released his first solo record in three years, Dettmann is a prolific producer in the electronic industry and is favoured for his contemporary techno performances.

Rhythm composer and DJ Julia Govor is one of Moscow’s finest. After starting off as a military band performer, the vivacious female has honed her own sound and has opened for the likes of Richard Villalobos and Richie Hawtin.

Tech house DJ WADE headlines room 2 with Birmingham local Pippi Ciez supporting the bill.

Reputable Berlin duo Pan-Pot will headline the Sunday show and return to The Rainbow Venues with a boundless techno set, following their last performance in Birmingham at Chapter XII festival.

Joining the Sunday programme is talented DJ and producer Nicole Moudaber. The in-demand female has taken her techno performances all over the world and has logged releases with some of the most prolific labels in the industry.

tINI and Bill Patrick will bring their brand new, back-to-back project titled Rolls ‘N’ Do, to The Rainbow Venues for the first time, following a 31 hour set which launched the brand in Romania.
