Tomorrowland will be implementing metal detectors at all entrances this year in light of the increasing terror threats in Europe.
After meeting with government officials and local authorities, Belgium’s Tomorrowland will be implementing metal detectors as part of their increased security efforts. This comes just after Hardwell’s recent Antwerp show was cancelled due to a possible terror threat.
Event organisers have revealed that further security measures are also being implemented though will not be disclosed. Scheduled to take place July 22nd through the 24th in Boom, Belgium, Tomorrowland is set to be bigger than ever. Shy of Hardwell and Avicii, the festival seems to have all of the biggest stars performing over the weekend.
