Never ceasing to amaze and innovate, Tomorrowland is back with another first, and this time it’s a full length, 300+ page, limited edition novel.
Titled ‘The Rise of Adscendo’, the novel is said to be ‘the key to unlock a festival experience for 2023 that has never been encountered before.’
After they revealed the mystical theme for 2023, the team behind Tomorrowlands flagship Belgium edition is working hard on developing the storyline for Adscendo with this novel now giving fans an insight into the backstory of the theme.

While this is the first time that they have released a limited edition novel that can be pre-ordered and on a wider scale and nowhere as detailed, back in 2019, ticket holders did receive a ‘Book of Wisdom’ novel in their treasure cases along with their entry bracelets as a free gift.
The 300+ page hardback novel will be available in both English and Dutch and be available to all to order regardless of their attendance to the actual festival next summer. The books official synopsis according to a press release states,
“The islands of Arcadiana are sinking, and the Soaring Isles, suspended in the air like floating mountains far out of reach, will soon fall, destroying the whole city – if the water doesn’t swallow them first.
As a Windrider, all Ro has ever wanted to do is to fly like the other members of her family. Thanks to her love of all the birds of her world, she has an idea on how to improve the day-to-day life of her crumbling society.
