The confusions and the discussion regarding the venue for Ultra Miami 2019 was a hot topic over the past few months and now, there’s more spice to that story.
Ultra Miami had been forced to move from their 2-decade-long home in Bayfront Park to their new home in Virginia Key, owing to a lot of social pressures. The festival did happen at the Virginia Key this year but there was something missing.
Ultra Miami suddenly lost its sheen. Many dance music fans were clearly disappointed with the 2019 show and the organisers accepted the fact too. Unfortunate incidents like a fire break-out are clearly not something Ultra Music Festival is known for. “It is clear that the festival experience on Virginia Key was simply not good enough”, they said in an official statement.
The statement said that the festival had chosen to voluntarily move away from the City of Miami and thanked them for being part of their journey. Now on, the festival will happen at a new South Florida location – and this, will be its permanent home!
All said and done, freeing themselves from the legal drama that they had to go through over the past year, gives them breathing space to put on an unforgettable show at their new venue. We can’t wait to hear more from them! Stay tuned.
