Sticking to their acclaimed underground ideals, VBX is back at ADE with four fantastically curated events featuring artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Sonja Moonear, Nicolas Lutz and Seth Troxler amongst many more to be announced. The landmark parties kick off on 18th October with tINI and the Gang, then take in one on the 19th, an afterparty on the morning of the 20th and one final event later that same day.
Now into its sixth year, VBX is an esteemed record label and respected promoter with a stylish minimal aesthetic, with a world-class selection of residents in Ferro, Reiss, and Makcim. The team knows their local Amsterdam scene inside out and back to front. They know the best venues and will be making use of them for their showcases, each of which will have a different, carefully curated vibe of its own, all with their own special production to make them extra memorable affairs.
First up will be tINI and the Gang in the famous red containers of BRET on October 18th. After that, VBX and Warehouse Elementenstraat will join forces to present to you a fantastic party with Ricardo Villalobos’ Frequency Resonance Remote Control. For this special occasion, the finest selection of artists will land at the Warehouse on Friday October 19th including Detroit hero Seth Troxler, cult favourites and deep digging tastemakers Zip and Nicolas Lutz, as well as Switzerland’s highly regarded Sonja Moonear, local legend Steve Rachmad and the resident duo of Spokenn, aka Ferro and Reiss, all of whom will provide you with a sound that works so perfectly in the industrial setting that characterises this exceptional venue.
Then on the 20th comes the infamous VBX ADE Afterhours at BRET, for the third year in a row, before another party at Shelter, the immersive basement space that has been the site of many great VBX parties over the years. These are set to be essential events for lovers of quality underground house and techno with high attention to detail and a knowledgeable crowd.
Full line-ups will be revealed very soon, but given their reputation and pulling power, it is safe to say that VBX is offering up the very best series of parties for this year’s ADE.
