Wendy’s Launches $1 Burger Comeback to Crush Rivals

The summer fast food war is officially on, and Wendy’s summer burger deal is leading the charge. While every big-name chain is rolling out new menu items to stay relevant in the heat, Wendy’s is keeping things classic, cheap, and irresistible, with a $1 Dave’s Single.

From June 7 to July 26, Wendy’s “100 Days of Savings” promo lets customers grab a Dave’s Single for just one dollar with any other purchase. That’s not a limited-time fluke, that’s an actual deal for nearly two months. And honestly? That’s tough to beat.

But it gets better. Wendy’s also just launched Frosty Fusions, an upgrade to your classic Frosty. Available in chocolate or vanilla, these frozen drinks can be slurped through a straw or scooped with a spoon. Flavored sauces let you customize the whole thing to match your mood (or your sweet tooth).

Taco Bell is clearly trying to win the spice war, bringing back their jalapeño buttermilk-marinated nuggets that sold out fast last time. They’ve added Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce just to turn up the heat even more.

Over at Chipotle, things are just as hot. Their new Chipotle Honey Chicken is already getting love thanks to its savory spice blend and hint of sweetness. Oh, and they’re giving out 10,000 free burritos every week until August 31. That’s 130,000 free burritos total. No one’s mad at that.

Chick-fil-A is sticking to the script with their Peach Milkshake, but fans are thrilled it’s back. Meanwhile, McDonald’s is pushing forward with those crispy snack wraps made from McCrispy Strips. They’ve already dropped nationally and will show up in new flavors soon.

And if you’re in the mood for something wild, Burger King has entered fantasy mode. Their new “How to Train Your Dragon” themed lineup includes the Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper and Viking’s Chocolate Sundae. Plus, they’ve got special promos like a BOGO Whopper on Father’s Day and free onion rings for National Onion Ring Day (June 22).

But honestly? Even with all that, Wendy’s still wins on value. A $1 burger is hard to ignore, especially when the rest of the world is dropping pricey gimmicks.
