Since Zedd’s Orbit Tour which was meant to happen in September and October got cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, he decided to live stream it on Twitch!

While Zedd was one of the few artists who hadn’t done any live streams yet through quarantine, this one was all out!

He also did a recent Q&A on Twitch during which he updated fans on what his new sound will be, his much anticipated and long-awaited collaboration with Martin Garrix and of course his new album in the works.

When asked by fans if we could expect Zedd music with the sounds from his works in the past, he did confirm more progressive house sounding tracks were on the way and that he indeed does have some “old school” tracks in the works for the new album as well. While we don’t have too many updates on the new album, it will be the follow up to his 2015 hit album, True Colors.

Just back in February, back when the Coronavirus hadn’t paralyzed the world as we know it, Martin Garrix had revealed that he had a collaboration in the works with Zedd which they had teased in December and he was keen on dropping it at “Ultra or Tomorrowland”. This was enough to throw the dance music community into a tizzy from excitement, but unfortunately, now neither festival is taking place this year, so Zedd answered how and when that might come to life.

All we know about the collaboration at the moment is he stated that they are still working hard on the track and how it’s more about when and how as it’s not always easy working in collaboration. But he did confirm that the duo will “100% do a song together.”
