Ricky Morrison and Fran Sidoli founded M&S PRODUCTIONS in the early 1990s.

Their production skills first came to light on various underground American house labels, such as Freeze, Cutting, Kult, Nervous, Big Beat, and Strictly Rhythm. The UK’S Public Demand records were the first label to unleash M&S’s unique sound. ‘Keep on’ by Jaye Ella Ruth and ‘Special’ by Robbie Craig were seminal underground classics.

M&S takes us through their timeless journey with their favorite sounds in house and Nu:Disco, for this week’s “Mix Of The Week”.

It’s been 20 years since M&S released their iconic track Salsoul Nugget (If U Wanna) as part of their musical project The Girl Next Door, and to celebrate, Mark Knight and Mighty Mouse have reimagined the cult classic tune in two remixes.

When the song released in 2001 via Pete Tong’s London Records, it was an immediate chart-topper in the U.K, peaking at #6 on the singles chart and also hitting #21 on the US Billboard charts.
