Justin Baldoni’s Lawyer Slams Blake Lively in Explosive $400M Lawsuit

“Preposterous” Allegations

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, did not mince words in his response to Blake Lively’s accusation that Baldoni was using the “abuser playbook” in the $400 million lawsuit. Calling her claims “preposterous,” Freedman accused Lively of attempting to tarnish Baldoni’s reputation and damage his future prospects in Hollywood.

“The mere fact that Ms. Lively feels she can publicly destroy Mr. Baldoni’s reputation in an attempt to devastate his career and then deny him or his team the ability to defend themselves is outrageous,” Freedman said in a statement.

A Call for Accountability

Freedman also emphasized that Baldoni had shown restraint throughout the ordeal, choosing not to publicly air grievances about Lively’s alleged behavior during filming. “Mr. Baldoni never once publicly called Ms. Lively out for her many wrongdoings during production,” Freedman stated. He accused Lively of doubling down on what he referred to as “revoltingly false sexual allegations.”

Standing His Ground

Freedman pledged that Baldoni would vigorously defend himself against what he described as “Blake’s power, privilege, and all-out lies.” He added that the actor would also advocate for the voiceless in the domestic violence community, whom he believes Lively’s actions undermine.

Freedman further pointed out that Baldoni had submitted 200 pages of documentary evidence that he claims “crushed” the allegations made by Lively.

The Hollywood Fallout

With each new development, the lawsuit is dividing opinions in Hollywood and among fans. Some see Baldoni’s rebuttal as a necessary defense against unfounded accusations, while others continue to support Lively’s claims. The lawsuit also ropes in Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her friend Taylor Swift, whom Baldoni alleges were used as “dragons” to pressure him during production.
