Justin Bieber just pulled the ultimate “IDGAF” move after his behavior was called into question, and the internet is spiraling.
Days after fans went full FBI mode analyzing his supposedly “bizarre” behavior at wife Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skin pop-up, the Peaches singer hit back in the most Justin Bieber way possible: by lighting up a joint on Instagram Stories and grinning straight into the camera.
Yes, you read that right.
The “Concern” That Started It All
It all kicked off last week when a TikTok clip of Bieber at Hailey’s event went viral for all the wrong reasons. In the footage, Bieber is seen swaying, gripping his pants, flashing an extra-wide smile, and at one point, just staring blankly into the abyss.
Fans immediately went into chaos mode:
- “This is so hard to watch. Someone help him.”
- “Bro doesn’t even look like himself anymore.”
- “He looks like he’s in pain.”
And then, of course, came the theories. Was he high? Was he unwell? Was he sending some kind of secret distress signal with his pants? Nobody knew.
Bieber’s Response: Smoke, Smile, Troll
Instead of clapping back with a statement or, I don’t know, ignoring it altogether, Bieber leaned all the way in.
He posted a one-minute Instagram Story on Thursday, casually ripping a joint while smirking at the camera, blowing smoke in the lens, dancing, and, just to make sure we got the point, smiling wide.
If that’s not a perfectly executed troll move, I don’t know what is.
Fans Are Divided (Again)
As expected, Bieber’s little performance set the internet ablaze, again.
- “This man is trolling all of us, and I kind of respect it.”
- “Just let the dude live?”
- “If Bieber breathes, y’all say he’s in distress.”
Meanwhile, some weren’t amused:
- “Nah, this isn’t funny. Something’s not right.”
- “The way his smile doesn’t reach his eyes… idk y’all.”
- “This is giving cry-for-help energy.”
Even TMZ had to step in with “sources close to Bieber” claiming that he wasn’t high at Hailey’s event, just “having fun.” His rep even called the drug speculation “exhausting and pitiful.”
So… What’s the Truth?
Honestly? Nobody knows.
Maybe Bieber is just vibing, fully aware that every move he makes turns into TikTok conspiracy theory fuel. Maybe he’s trolling for fun. Maybe he’s over people dissecting his every move.
Or maybe, just maybe, he just really enjoys a good smoke session.
Either way, the man is unbothered, and whether fans are concerned or entertained, they can’t look away.
