The wait is over—Marvel Studios has just dropped a brand-new teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it’s got fans buzzing.

While the full trailer is set to release tomorrow, this sneak peek has already given us a look at Marvel’s First Family and their next big adventure.

Back to the 1960s – A Retro-Futuristic Vibe

One of the standout elements of the “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” teaser is its aesthetic. Set against a retro-futuristic 1960s backdrop, the film is leaning into the Fantastic Four’s classic comic book origins. We see a parallel version of New York City, complete with vintage TV sets, kids running through the streets, and—of course—the Baxter Building towering in the background.

First Look at Marvel’s First Family

Fans got a brief but thrilling glimpse of the main cast suited up and ready for action. Pedro Pascal steps into the role of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby shines as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn blazes as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach looks downright unbreakable as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

We also see what looks like the team’s rocket, a familiar nod to their iconic origin story. And is that the Fantasticar making an appearance? It sure seems like it.

The Threat of Galactus Looms

One of the biggest takeaways? Galactus is coming. The teaser doesn’t reveal much, but Marvel insiders confirm that the Devourer of Worlds, played by Ralph Ineson, will be the film’s central antagonist. His Herald, the Silver Surfer, is rumored to be portrayed by Julia Garner, though she was noticeably absent from this teaser.

What About the Full Trailer?

The full Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer is set to drop tomorrow morning, and expectations are high. With Marvel Studios skipping a Super Bowl trailer in favor of an exclusive release, fans are hoping for an extended look at the team in action, more details on the plot, and possibly a reveal of other surprise characters.

What’s Next?

The Fantastic Four’s long-awaited MCU debut hits theaters on July 25, 2025. With director Matt Shakman at the helm and a screenplay polished by Josh Friedman, Cam Squires, and Eric Pearson, Marvel is clearly betting big on this one.

Will this be the film that finally does the Fantastic Four justice? We’ll find out soon.
