There’s wild drama unfolding in the world of politics, TikTok, and teen power moves, yes, you read that right. Internet sensation Khaby Lame was recently detained by ICE at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, and according to one bold teen, he made it happen. That teen? Bo Loudon, an 18-year-old MAGA influencer who says he’s Barron Trump’s “best friend.”
Lame, who rose to global fame for his silent, hilarious reactions to ridiculous life hacks on TikTok, reportedly arrived in the U.S. on April 30. But by June 6, ICE swooped in, claiming he had overstayed his visa. While ICE says the popular creator wasn’t deported, he was released and left the U.S. voluntarily, Loudon quickly hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to take credit for the whole thing.
The far-left Daily Beast just called me a “RAT” and The Sun dubbed me a “rat extraordinaire.”
Why? Because I helped President Trump’s DHS deport TikTok’s biggest star, Khaby Lame, for being in the U.S. illegally.

According to Loudon, he’d been “working with the patriots at President Trump’s DHS” to make the arrest happen. He accused Lame of staying on an “invalid visa” and dodging taxes and declared, “No one is above the law.” The teen also claimed he called “some buddies in the administration” and watched things move faster than a TikTok trend. “They were like, ‘We’re gonna get right on this,’” he said, clearly thrilled.
Khaby Lame, born in Senegal and raised in Italy, is no random influencer. With over 162 million followers on TikTok, he’s officially the most-followed person on the platform. He’s also a UNICEF goodwill ambassador and a face of Hugo Boss, having inked a multi-year deal with the brand. Just last month, he strutted the red carpet at the Met Gala in NYC. But none of that star power protected him from visa trouble or from becoming a MAGA bragging point.
While ICE kept it professional, saying he had “violated immigration terms” and “has since departed the U.S.”, Loudon turned it into a political flex. He went so far as to tweet that “every single illegal alien needs to be deported” and called Lame a “far-left illegal alien TikToker.” Yeah, he really said all that.
And if Loudon’s name sounds familiar, it might be because of his parents. His dad is former Republican Missouri State Senator John Loudon, and his mom is conservative media personality Gina Loudon, a Trump supporter who once starred on Wife Swap and is a member of Mar-a-Lago. So, the Loudon family definitely knows how to stay in the headlines.
Meanwhile, fans of Khaby aren’t letting this slide. Social media erupted with accusations that Bo Loudon is a “snitch” and “rat extraordinaire,” with many calling his self-celebration just plain gross. One commenter even wrote, “Rat extraordinaire, Barron Trump’s ‘bestie’ who informs ICE about all those nasty illegals.”
For now, Khaby Lame hasn’t made a public statement, and neither has UNICEF. But the internet is watching, and speculation is swirling. Will he be allowed back? Was this whole thing just a political stunt? And more importantly, should a teenager who hangs around the White House really have this kind of pull?
Whether you see it as justice served or a TikTok witch hunt, one thing’s for sure: this unexpected immigration twist is as messy as it gets. Lame’s detainment is making waves far beyond social media, dragging big names, government agencies, and viral clout into a bizarre, only-in-2025 saga.
