Commercial psy trance has been really catching up and garnering a lot of fame! The most notable name that comes to mind when you think of commercial psy is Vini Vici.
Masters of their art, they have produced some insane tracks that can get any festival crowd dancing. More commercial means more collabs, bigger events and bigger names. After their extremely successful collaboration with Armin van Buuren for “Great Spirit” they have now worked together with one of those trance artists with whom most trance fans do have a love-hate relation, the one and only NYWR aka W&W.
W&W join the bandwagon of artists who chose to make their comeback to trance under a new alias. Apparently, it is because trance is alive and kicking? Well, it may be the case. Commercial music didn’t give them as much fame. And what better way can there be to re-enter the scene than by working with an artist who is already ruling it? First, a debut with on the reputed ASOT stage and then a collaboration with Vini Vici. These guys are playing their cards well, undoubtedly.
The track, Chakra, was first premiered on the Mainstage at Tomorrowland by Armin himself. Here is a little sneak peek from W&W itself. What is your opinion on the track and W&W’s return? Let us know in the comments below!
