After the release of his new album Carte Blanche last month, DJ Snake has been taking to the main stages at festivals worldwide.
However, things were a little different at HARD Summer last weekend. In a last-minute surprise announcement just days before the festival, HARD had announced a special DJ Snake B2B Malaa set.
From the very beginning, DJ Snake had put out a disclaimer on Twitter telling his fans this was going to be a special set and nothing like the normal Snake or Malaa sets.

This was also hinted at by the stage they were set to play. In the past, the Pink Tent has always been dedicated to House music only and is, in fact, one of the smallest tents at the festival. The question remained if the duo lived up to the House Music Only motto, and they sure did showing us a side of DJ Snake we haven’t heard before.
This led to obvious levels of excitement and hype and from everyone who was lucky enough to witness it, and now with the release of the entire live set for all to hear, we’d say it was well worth it! The 72-minute set is packed with house bangers not just by both DJ’s but also tracks by Chris Lake, Wax Motif, Dog Blood and more. They also obviously had a fair share of ID’s thrown in along with tracks like “Made In France” with their fellow Frenchmen Tchami and Mercer.
This set is definitely going to be a memorable one from this festival season and the seamless ease with which the two mixed one banger after another is only part of it. The reactions from fans in attendance only reinforce that, with most calling it the highlight of HARD Summer overall.
