The official biography for the late legend Avicii is now available for pre-order. Written by award-winning journalist Måns Mosesson, the book aims to offer a new perspective on the life of Avicii aka Tim Bergling before he took his life three years ago at the age of just 28.
The iconic artist that he was, is celebrated in the biography which the publishers claim ‘paints an honest picture of his life, while ‘not shying from the difficulties that he struggled with’ prior to his tragic and untimely death giving readers an insight into his life.
Mossen was given access to Tim’s own notes and extensively interviewed his family, close friends, and colleagues within the industry as he was writing the book. He is said to have kept it real and highlighted the struggles Bergling faced as well as who he was in real life as a person, giving his fans insight into the artist as they’ve never had before.
An official press release for the book read,
“It’s almost impossible to grasp how big an impact Tim Bergling had, both on the music industry at large and on his fans all over the world. Måns Mosesson has traveled in Tim’s footsteps across the globe, from the streets of his childhood in Stockholm, to Miami, Ibiza, and Los Angeles, in order to provide an in-depth and multifaceted picture of Tim’s life and works.”
All net proceeds from the book will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation set up by his family in his honor.
The book is currently available for pre-order in a number of countries and is coming to more countries with release dates set for later this month. The book can be pre-ordered through multiple outlets. You can check out the official website for more details here.
