In the most recent event to bite the dust courtesy the COVID-19 global pandemic, is Ultra Europe. The event that was originally going to be held in Croatia from July 10-12, 2020 will no longer take place this year.
After fake statements doing the rounds about the cancellation earlier, it is sadly now official.
In an official statement released earlier today, they announced the event was ‘rescheduled’ to next year and would now be held from July 9-11, 2021.
Unlike the move, they made with Ultra Music Festival Miami, even though tickets from 2020 will remain valid for 2021 if attendees choose that option, they will also be able to request a refund if they are unable to attend the 2021 edition. All ticket holders will be contacted with more information and to make their choice regarding their tickets.
Ultra Europe has been taking place in Split, Croatia, over seven editions, but it has now become apparent that for the eighth edition we’ll have to wait it out till 2021. The 2019 edition of Ultra Europe had record-breaking attendance and saw a total attendance of more than 120,000 fans from 143 different countries over the course of three days.
The 2020 edition was set to feature a stacked lineup with names like Armin van Burren, David Guetta, Afrojack, DJ Snake and more.
Ultra Europe 2021 is now set to be held from July 9-1, 2021.
