Australian-born, Europe-based DJ, producer, and label boss Juliet Fox and Hamburg-bred electronic music duo ANDATA teamed up to present a distinctive and unique fusion of musical elements in their latest single ‘Velvet Tears.’
The highly anticipated track is now available through the renowned Three Six Zero Recordings label.
‘Velvet Tears’ was born from the collaboration of Juliet Fox and ANDATA. Initially intended for an exclusive T-Shirt capsule release with Customized Culture (ANDATA’s own clothing imprint), the track was an added bonus. However, when the producers came together in the studio, the track stood out in both their discographies and it soon became the star.
Electrifying, saw-heavy basslines drive a powerful energy in this dancefloor weapon, which brings peak-time energy while still bringing to surface the sensibility evoked by the song’s creative core and essence. A distinctive fusion between electrified, driving techno, trance, and Juliet’s vocals resulted in the high octane energy of ‘Velvet Tears’. Juliet Fox comments about her inspiration for the track:
“Finally ‘Velvet Tears’ is out today and is my first collaboration with ANDATA. The track came about to compliment the planned T-Shirt capsule I was doing with Customized Culture, and we never thought it would actually end up being the main focus! But from the second it was done, we all knew it was special – my vocals were written from a good place and have a deeper meaning behind it. Pair them with energetic production and you have our track ‘Velvet Tears’. I hope this is the first of many to come with ANDATA and we are incredibly proud to be putting it out via Three Six Zero too!”.
