NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and comedian Druski have been named in an amended lawsuit alongside music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, with plaintiff Ashley Parham alleging a 2018 sexual assault.
The lawsuit, which initially targeted Combs and other unnamed individuals, has now expanded to include Beckham and Druski.
What Are the Allegations?
According to Parham’s complaint, she was assaulted in March 2018 at a residence in Orinda, California. The lawsuit alleges that Combs, Beckham, and Druski were involved in an incident that included physical threats, sexual assault, and coercion.
Parham claims that:
- Combs allegedly threatened her with a knife before assaulting her with a remote control.
- Druski allegedly poured lubricant on her before assaulting her.
- A man referred to as “Cornelius” was involved, who Parham now identifies as Odell Beckham Jr.
Following the alleged assault, Parham reported the incident to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office. However, police later determined the claims to be unfounded after an investigation.
Denials from Beckham, Druski, and Combs
All three defendants have denied the allegations:
- Druski took to social media to call the claims “a fabricated lie,” adding that in 2018, he was not even a public figure and had no entertainment industry connections.
- Beckham responded on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. That name will be cleared.”
- Combs’ legal team rejected the claims, saying he was not in Orinda on the date of the alleged assault and that law enforcement had already dismissed the accusations.
Lawsuit History and Legal Implications
The lawsuit was originally filed in October 2024, targeting Combs and his associates. The recent amendment now includes Beckham and Druski, with Parham seeking $50 million in damages.
While the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department investigated Parham’s claims and found them unsubstantiated, the lawsuit has resurfaced in civil court, raising questions about evidence and credibility.
What’s Next?
With Odell Beckham Jr., Druski, and Diddy all facing serious accusations, legal experts suggest that the case will likely hinge on:
- The credibility of new evidence or witness testimony.
- Whether previous law enforcement conclusions influence court proceedings.
- The strength of each defendant’s legal defense.
As this case unfolds, it’s important to remember that allegations are not proof of guilt, and all parties involved are innocent until proven otherwise.
For now, Combs remains behind bars facing additional federal charges, while Beckham and Druski continue to deny involvement. The case is expected to move forward in civil court in the coming months.
