Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing yet another legal battle as a new lawsuit has surfaced, alleging that the music mogul sexually assaulted a woman at a Los Angeles club in 2016.
This is just one of more than two dozen lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct, as Combs remains at the center of a growing legal firestorm.
What the Lawsuit Claims
According to a complaint filed in New York State Supreme Court, the unnamed woman alleges that she was at Club Playhouse when Diddy approached her. The lawsuit states that he offered her a drink, and when she refused, he allegedly responded:
“B, I’m not asking you. Drink that s* and shut the f* up.”
She claims that after reluctantly taking the drink, Combs forced himself on her, shoving his hand under her skirt and assaulting her while saying:
“B, I do what I want, take that s*.”
The lawsuit further alleges that Diddy laughed when the woman tried to resist, appearing “amused” by her distress.
Diddy’s Legal Team Fires Back
Combs’ attorneys have denied all allegations, releasing a statement that reads:
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed—especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims—it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”
They argue that the accusations are unfounded and that Diddy is confident he will prevail in court.
Diddy’s Mounting Legal Issues
This new lawsuit is just the latest in a long string of allegations. Combs is also facing federal criminal charges for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Currently, Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Despite requesting bail three times, he has been denied every time. His trial is set to begin in May 2025.
