Spektre are back with a slamming three-track techno EP on their record label Respekt.

The UK duo have recently had a slew of releases including outings on record labels such as Filth on Acid and Kraftek.

The guys new release includes three original tracks in their trademark style with explosive drums and gripping synths and intensely dark atmosphere.

Rich Wakley and Paul Maddox are the pairing behind the Spektre alias, and together they have become a driving force in the global techno scene. This latest release is just one example of their production prowess, as each of the tracks are perfectly suited to the dance floor.

“The Unseen Path” gets the ball rolling with its alluring vocal sample, bursts of dark texture, and powerful lead synth that’s underpinned by a booming kick drum. “Bring Me Fire” is a very distinctive track with an uplifting vocal that contrasts with the ominous mood and punch of the backing track. “Suspended in a Sunbeam” changes up the vibe of the release with an old-school breakbeat and uplifting melody that at times is reminiscent of Bicep.

Another top-notch release from Spektre who show us a bit of flex with the last track, which reminds us that when it comes to making music, they are masters of mood and energy.
