U.K. Electro master Jon Gooch a.k.a. Feed Me’s latest EP is the refreshing change from mainstream electronic music that we’ve all been waiting for.

Not one to adhere to set formulas or trends, Feed Me’s latest offering, on his Sotto Voce imprint, makes for a tasty (see what we did there), yet enthralling experience. Making a comeback in 2014 with his Psychedelic Journey EP, the launch of his record label following up with a national tour and a massive collaborative effort with Kill The Noise, 2015 could well be the year of the Green Monster (figuratively ofcourse!)

Always equipped with a deep bag of tricks, the Tokyo EP, is characteristically a typical Feed Me offering, yet highly diverse in it’s entirety. There’s a little bit of everything in this 4 track masterpiece, with genre defying and complex elements that will have you grooving from TRACK 1 itself. ‘Wuzzle’ had me do a little jig from the time the song dropped. Making regular appearances in his sets, this electro banger screams out the classic Feed Me bassline coupled with catchy drums with a close resemblance to the Native American and tribal sounds. ‘Different World’ is uber catchy and struggles to stay within it’s genre defying limits. Trust Feed Me to defy all expectations, in a good way of course, with the much talked about, dub infused deep house tune, ‘Spilt Milk’. ‘High Noon’ is a gorgeous yet chaotic mid-tempo jam, with the right amount of energy and grunge influence.
