On May 20, Hughes shared a carousel of sweet images with JoJo on Instagram, showing the pair looking super cozy. One pic shows JoJo leaning into Chris with a huge smile, her head resting on his shoulder as she grips his arm. The other shots include restaurant hugs, couch snuggles, and tropical selfies that basically scream vacation vibes. Chris captioned the post, “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest,” making everyone wonder if this is more than just a friendship.
JoJo, who just turned 22, also dropped her own collection of photos from the trip, calling it “the most magical birthday week” filled with surprises, love, and “good meaningful cries.” She didn’t name Chris directly, but one look at the pics and you know who she was with. Chris even jumped into the comments with a simple, “Oh” Joelle”, using her real name, which sent fans into a frenzy.

Christopher is not one of them,” she said. “Maybe it would be easier if he were! But he is not.”
She also called out the one-sided nature of the drama, saying, “If you’re going to share the story, share the story. Don’t paint it out to look like I cheated on you with him because I did not.”
Kath Ebbs later responded to PEOPLE with her own statement, saying it was “unfortunate” that the relationship was being reduced to untrue rumors. She called the public narrative “one-sided” and said attacks on her character weren’t something she would tolerate.
