Ariana Biermann Gets Real About Kroy Amid Divorce Drama

Ariana Biermann isn’t holding back when it comes to how messy her parents’ split has gotten.

The 23-year-old Don’t Be Tardy alum opened up at the Next Gen NYC premiere party on June 2 about where things stand between her and Kroy Biermann, as his rocky divorce from her mom Kim Zolciak keeps making headlines. And yeah, it’s complicated.

“It goes through waves a little bit,” Ariana said, describing her current relationship with Kroy. The divorce, she admitted, has been “very difficult and very messy.” And being so close to her mom makes it even harder to watch. “My mom is my best friend,” she said, “and it’s really hard to watch.”

Still, she’s not writing her dad off. Ariana confirmed that she and Kroy, 39, are “going to talk soon,” despite the back-and-forth they’ve had. One big win? Kroy actually gave Ariana the green light to talk about everything on camera for her new reality show. “You have to sign a release for these things in order to talk about things, and he was willing to do that for me,” she revealed. “He’s been supportive in that.”

Kroy legally adopted Ariana and her sister Brielle, now 28, back in 2013 after marrying Kim. And even through their ups and downs, Ariana says her dad still supports her career moves, like joining Next Gen NYC, which follows rising reality stars. “He hasn’t said anything about it since it came out,” she added, “but he’s been okay with me sharing my story and the things that have gone on over the last couple of years.”

And if you’ve been even halfway paying attention to Kim and Kroy’s saga, you know it’s been anything but calm. The two originally filed for divorce in May 2023 after 12 years of marriage. Then in July, they pulled a U-turn to “make it work for the kids.” But by August, Kroy filed again. And earlier this year in February, he filed for divorce a third time. Kim’s original court docs painted the picture clearly: their marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The drama wasn’t just emotional, it was legal and financial too. The ex-couple continued living under the same roof in Georgia for months, and things got real tense. In April, Kim called 911 saying Kroy violated a court order from December 2023 that required them to stay on separate sides of the house. And that wasn’t the only time cops got called. In November, both Kim and Kroy accused each other of domestic violence.

Add a foreclosure crisis to the mix, and you’ve got a total mess. Their 15,700-square-foot Georgia mansion, once listed for $6 million in October 2023, finally sold for $2.75 million in January this year, according to property records.

Through all of this, Ariana’s just been trying to live her life and tell her truth. And while her bond with Kroy may not be as strong as it once was, the fact that he let her share her side of the story says a lot. “He’s been supportive,” she said again, showing there’s at least some respect left between them.

The reality star is now focused on what’s next, stepping into the spotlight with Next Gen NYC while staying close to Kim, and cautiously navigating whatever’s left of her relationship with Kroy.
