The Bachelor alum and her NFL husband, Jake Funk, are officially expecting their first child together, a year after tying the knot in a stunning ceremony in Italy. And yes, it was a total surprise for the couple.
Hannah Ann shared that they found out the big news during a trip to Dubai. “It was such an unexpected and joyful surprise,” she told People. “A moment we’ll always treasure.” For fans who’ve followed the couple since Jake famously slid into her TikTok DMs ahead of the 2022 Super Bowl, this marks another major milestone in their fast-moving love story.
While Hannah Ann Sluss is pregnant and glowing now in her second trimester, she admitted that the first few weeks were rough. “The first trimester was all about rest and sticking to the basics,” she revealed, noting that most foods turned her stomach, except fruit. “Almost everything tasted off,” she added.
Despite the rocky start, things are looking up. “I’ve been feeling great,” she said, clearly riding high on the joy of this new chapter. When it comes to baby names, the couple hasn’t settled on anything yet but are leaning toward something with family meaning. “We’ve started talking names and love the idea of choosing one that’s meaningful and tied to family in some way,” she shared.

Last year, Hannah and Jake got married in an intimate Italian ceremony, choosing to skip the guest list and focus purely on each other. “We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment and significance of marriage,” Hannah said at the time.
