Bonnie Blue’s Handcuff Hoax: Internet Falls for Fake Arrest Stunt

The internet has been freaking out over a video that shows adult content creator Bonnie Blue, real name Tia Billinger, being seemingly arrested by people dressed as UK police officers.

The clip, posted on Bonnie’s official Instagram account, shows her being searched against a car by a woman claiming to be a police officer, while others interrogate her. One of the fake officers says, “Stop talking until we work this out,” and another adds, “She’s going to be coming in.” The drama looked intense, and fans immediately assumed Bonnie Blue was arrested.

To make things even more confusing, the video was accompanied by a message from her sister saying, “As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested. We still don’t have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know.” Her sister also wrote, “This isn’t something we wanted to get out, but it seems there is no privacy for her anymore.” That alone sent shockwaves through her fan base, who flooded the comments with concern.

Adult performer Andy Lee even chimed in, saying he tried to call Bonnie, but her phone had been disconnected. Her account responded, “Thank you, Andy. I’ll keep you in the loop when we get an update.” All signs pointed to a legit arrest, until the internet did what it does best: investigate.

Turns out, there’s more to the story. A few hours before Bonnie’s post, another adult creator, Lily Phillips, uploaded an almost identical video. Same situation, same car, same style of “officers,” and none of them were wearing any visible badges or official markings. Even the license plate on the car was reportedly linked to a known prop vehicle used in content shoots. That’s when the whole thing started to unravel.

A fact-check on X (formerly Twitter) stepped in and clarified what many had started suspecting: “This is an OnlyFans content creator skit. These are not real police officers.” They even labeled the footage as “satire that might be misinterpreted as fact.” So no, Bonnie Blue wasn’t arrested. It was just a well-staged scene designed to stir buzz, and it worked.

Bonnie Blue is no stranger to viral moments. She made headlines previously when she claimed to have slept with 1,057 men in just 12 hours. That jaw-dropping statement alone earned her spots on mainstream shows like This Morning. The 25-year-old’s shock value continues to pay off big time. She’s claimed in interviews that she makes around two million a month from her OnlyFans content and even told the Daily Star that she’s aiming for a £10 million income by 2025.

While fans were initially caught off guard by the so-called Bonnie Blue arrest, it looks like the whole thing was a scripted attempt to go viral, and it definitely delivered. Whether you love her or hate her, Bonnie Blue knows how to keep her name in your feed. From outrageous stunts to controversial claims, she’s become a master at turning internet attention into income. And honestly, at this point, no one’s surprised.
