Demi Moore Was Wrong About Taking This Celebrity’s Virginity

Demi Moore is basking in the glory of her most dazzling comeback yet. Not only was she recently voted by People Magazine as the “most beautiful woman in the world”, but she also snagged an Oscar nomination for her role as Elizabeth Sparkle in “The Substance.”

Yet her claim to fame began way back in the 1980s, while starring in Brat Pack hits like “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “About Last Night.” All at once, the husky-voiced brunette became a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. Audiences fell in love with Moore due to her on-screen charm and effortless talent. Soon enough, the movie star was dominating the box office, starring in 80s classics from left to right.

Demi Moore Claims She Took Jon Cryer’s Virginity

Yet one of the more forgotten films from that era was a smaller-scale 1984 flick, “No Small Affair,” set in the smoggy streets of San Francisco. Starring Demi Moore and “Two and a Half Men” star Jon Cryer, the movie centers around their budding relationship.

In the movie, Jon Cryer’s character spends the majority of the film pining after Demi Moore, who couldn’t care less about him for the vast majority of the flick. As it turns out, the actors shared a very similar dynamic behind the scenes as well.

Demi Moore told it best for fans in her tell-all memoir, writing carefully about how she took the virginity of the “Pretty in Pink” actor.

“I landed a lead part in ‘No Small Affair,’ a romantic teen comedy Columbia Pictures was distributing,” Moore writes in her 2019 memoir. “I played a young nightclub singer, and Jon Cryer played the nineteen-year-old photographer who falls in love with her, in his first movie role. Jon fell for me in real life, too, and lost his virginity to me while we were making that movie. It pains me to think of how callous I was with his feelings – that I stole what could have been such an important and beautiful moment from him. I was sort of losing it right then, and I was definitely not in a place to take care of someone else’s feelings.”

The ‘Pretty in Pink’ Actor Denies Demi Moore Took His Virginity

Jon Cryer hilariously set the record straight about Moore’s memoir, saying it isn’t true that “The Substance” actress took his virginity. (Although, as Cryer humorously point out, he can understand why she thought this was the case.)

Following the release of Moore’s memoir, Cryer tweeted, “Well, the good thing about this is she doesn’t have to feel bad about it anymore, because while I’m sure she was totally justified making that assumption based on my skill level (and the stunned look on my face at the time), I had actually lost my virginity in high school.”

He later added with adoration, “But she’s right the other part, I was over the moon for her during a very troubled time in her life. I have nothing but affection for her and not a regret in the world.”

Well, that settles it then! Which projects from Demi Moore and Jon Cryer are you dying to see next?
