Fran Drescher Dishes on Her Sex Life: “No Boyfriend, Just Benefits”

Fran Drescher is single, and she’s not exactly mingling. Instead, the 67-year-old actress says she’s happily maintaining a “little rotation” of trusted friends with benefits.

I have a little rotation. I’m Fran Drescher. What do you think?!” she told Page Six with her signature confidence and charm.

The “Nanny” star revealed she’s not interested in serious relationships right now, but prefers to keep things light, and physical, with partners she already knows and trusts.

Drescher explained her relationship status is closely tied to her unique bond with her gay ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson. The two married in 1978, separated in 1996, and divorced in 1999 after Jacobson came out, but they’ve remained inseparable ever since.

We are divorced, but still single because it is hard to compete with what we shared,” Fran told DailyMail.com. “We’ve been together since we were 15 and we’ve been through so much.

Jacobson echoed the sentiment: “When you’re lucky in life and you meet your soulmate, nothing can tear you apart… We vacation together. We do everything together. It’s a deep, deep love.

So while Fran may not have a traditional romantic partner, she’s not lacking in intimacy, or independence. And with a playful wink to the press, she makes no apologies for living life on her own terms.

Meanwhile, her long-anticipated Broadway adaptation of “The Nanny” has been put on pause, due to a combination of setbacks including the actors’ strike, her father’s passing in 2024, and the recent Palisades wildfires that damaged her LA home.

You have to be in the right frame of mind,” she said, adding that she’s been taking things slow and leaning on a tight inner circle to heal. “I don’t try to hide it. I’m very gentle with myself… and over time it gets better.

Though her house is still standing, it’s currently unliveable, and she’s been splitting her time between Beverly Hills and New York. “I have a place here in New York, too. I’m very happy because this is my home, too,” she said.

As for love? Fran Drescher may not be looking for “the one,” but she’s got enough company to keep things interesting.
