Justin Bieber is making it loud and clear, he’s stepping into dad mode, and he’s not here for anyone’s nonsense.
On Father’s Day (June 15, 2025), the pop star took to Instagram with a bold, expletive-filled message. Posting a black-and-white portrait of himself, he wrote, “I’m a dad that’s not to be f**** with.”*

The 31-year-old singer, who shares a 10-month-old son named Jack Blues with wife Hailey Bieber, isn’t known for sugarcoating his emotions. This post comes on the heels of several raw updates where Justin’s been opening up about his inner struggles, the pressure of fame, and how he’s reassessing what really matters.
A few weeks back, Justin told his 295 million followers he was “tired of transactional relationships.” In a grayscale selfie set, he wrote, “If I have to do something to be loved, that’s not love.” It was a clear jab at the superficial expectations placed on him, both in his career and personal life.
The day before that message, the Sorry singer vented again. Sharing a photo with his hand covering his face, he explained how exhausting it is to keep pushing himself just to meet others’ standards. “This is how I feel after people keep telling me there’s more work to do after I’ve given everything I have to give,” he wrote. “I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there’s no end to trying to earn your spot in this life because I tried. U have everything u need right now.”
Clearly, Justin’s over the hustle culture. He’s been vocal about reclaiming his time and energy, and about not letting others define his worth. In another recent Instagram Story, he touched on the importance of faith: “But this life is about God. Loving us so we can love each other. Quit making ur life about work. God will always inspire you to want to work harder. U think if you don’t tell people to work hard that they won’t. Stop playing God please.”
The pop icon’s messages might sound cryptic, but they all point to a deeper need for balance, authenticity, and self-worth. Fame, fortune, and constant public attention have clearly taken a toll on him, but being a dad seems to be a grounding force.
Justin’s been in the spotlight since he was a teen, and it looks like he’s finally drawing lines in the sand. Whether it’s protecting his peace, showing up for his family, or cutting through the noise of social media, Bieber is on a mission to live with intention, and he’s not afraid to call people out along the way.
So yeah, don’t mess with him. Especially not on Father’s Day.
