Kate Upton and Justin Verlander have added a new member to their family. The couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Bellamy Brooks Verlander, on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Kate, 33, gave birth to their son, and her rep confirmed the news to TMZ.
The next day, Justin, 42, was placed on paternity leave by the San Francisco Giants, allowing him time to be with his growing family. MLB’s paternity leave policy lets players step away from the field for up to three games, unless extended time is needed.
Kate and Justin already share a daughter, six-year-old Genevieve, affectionately known as Vivi. The couple tied the knot in 2017, shortly after Justin helped lead the Houston Astros to a World Series win.
