Kesha got real about her journey with self-love and finding comfort in her single status, until she finds someone who is able to meet her needs. The singer spilled to Elle Magazine, “I’m only going to enter into a partnership again if someone treats me as well as I treat myself.” She then gave an important piece of advice when it comes to self-love, telling the mag, “I kept hearing people say, ‘I’m looking for The One.’ I kept waiting for somebody else to fill that space, and then I just stepped into it myself. You gotta be all those things to yourself – your own boyfriend, sugar daddy, rich husband, best friend, cheerleader.”

According to Kesha, the best thing you can do is love yourself in the same way you wish to be romantically loved. She told Elle, “I started taking myself on vacations, buying myself six dozen roses, and taking myself for shopping sprees at Saint Laurent. Yes, I take myself on f*cking really bougie dates, like really celebrating the f*ck out of myself.”

After releasing her latest single “Yipee Ki Yay” Kesha stans became anxious to learn about whether or not she would be gracing her followers with a new album release, and when. Fortunately, dedicated fans of the electro-pop singer will be pleased to know that she has a record titled “Period,” which is currently set to be released on July 4th, 2025.
According to the singer, the album is seminal because it will be her very first recording under her own independent label, Kesha Records. She talked to Paper Magazine about the highly-anticipated album, claiming that it’s “the first record I’ve ever made where I have legal rights to my own voice.”
