Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian used to be thick as thieves. When Keeping Up With The Kardashians first premiered on E!, fans were obsessed with the unbreakable and carefree bond between the sisters.
Throughout the first handful of seasons on the reality show, there was a constant dynamic where it was Kourtney and Khloe vs. Kim Kardashian. Yet as the seasons progressed, the dynamic shifted, and Kourtney began to feel ganged up on by Khloe and Kim.
Eventually, Khloe and Kim’s constant riffing on Kourtney stopped feeling like sisterly teasing, and morphed instead into straight-up bullying. For the eldest Kardashian sister it felt as though she couldn’t do anything right, due to Kim and Khloe criticizing her every move. So fed up with the constant torment and ridicule, Kourtney made the decision to leave their reality show, putting an end to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians empire.
But the Poosh founder didn’t just leave the show. According to the 46-year-old reality TV star, she has to distance herself from her family entirely in order to avoid the toxicity. In fact, as she pointed out in a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kourtney is at her happiest when she’s as far away from the Kardashian family as she can get. She vented to Kim in a heated phone call, “I have a happy life, and that happiness comes when I get the f— away from you guys. Specifically you.”
Kourtney More Devastated By Fallout With Khloe Than Kim
While Kourtney and Kim have never had the most stable relationship, her newfound strain with Khloe was even more devastating for Kourtney, since they used to be so close. “I just feel like every day they just pick on me, and I just can’t do it anymore,” Kourtney tearfully confessed to her friends on an episode of Keeping up With The Kardashians. “I’m almost more mad at Khloe than Kim because I expect it from Kim,” she said. Kourtney added, “Khloe just takes everyone’s side always, except for me.”
Kourtney Calls Out Khloe’s Judgey Behavior
While Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian may never be as close as they once were, it looks like things are more civil with them now than they were just a few years back. Kourtney even guest-starred on Khloe Kardashian’s Wonderland podcast, where the two sat down and discussed their relationship as well as their newest family dynamics.
When the conversation shifted towards their relationship, Khloe goaded Kourtney by asking her sister what qualities about her she wanted to change the most. “Is there anything that really bothers you about me?” Khloe asked Kourt.
“Sometimes you’ll just look at me with judging eyes,” Kourtney told Khloe. “Like you’ll just be there, judging away.”
Despite the two being on okay terms while sitting down together for Khloe’s podcast, insider reports claim the sisters are still in a tough spot within their relationship. The source said, “Things between Khloe and Kourtney started to go south a couple of years ago, mostly because Kim put her in the middle.”
Adding, “Khloe took Kim’s side and now even though Kim and Kourtney are doing a lot better, Khloe is still not in a great place with her.
