In a saga that seems to redefine “on-again, off-again,” Kroy Biermann has filed for divorce from Kim Zolciak for the third time.
The couple, known from reality TV fame, first filed for divorce in May 2023, citing an “irretrievably broken” marriage. A brief reconciliation followed, but by August 2023, they were back in the divorce court. Now, in February 2025, with Zolciak’s recent move to a new county in Georgia, Biermann has once again initiated divorce proceedings.
Their marital discord has been anything but private. In November 2024, the couple sold their Alpharetta mansion for $2.75 million, a significant drop from its original $6 million asking price. The sale came after multiple foreclosure threats and financial strains.
The turbulence didn’t end there. In December 2024, Zolciak accused Biermann of physical assault during a heated argument, alleging he threw her to the ground in front of their children. Police were called, but no arrests were made due to conflicting accounts.
Financial woes have also plagued the duo. In January 2025, Zolciak claimed Biermann stole $1,500 worth of her prescription medication, leading to yet another police intervention.
Amidst the chaos, Zolciak has sought a psychological evaluation for Biermann, expressing concerns over his mental health and potential Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) from his NFL career. She cites his “angry and emotional outbursts” and “bouts of physical violence” as reasons for the request.
As this rollercoaster continues, one can only wonder: is the third time truly the charm, or just another loop in their tumultuous ride?
