Meghan Markle just got real nostalgic-and Instagram is loving it.
To celebrate seven years of marriage with Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex posted a beautiful tribute that not only melted hearts but also gave fans a rare, intimate glimpse into their life together.
The post wasn’t your usual anniversary selfie. Meghan shared a photo of a detailed mood board loaded with never-before-seen photos from their relationship-think everything from early couple shots to precious family moments and deep personal touches that haven’t been shown publicly before.

She captioned it: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story, we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!”
Their love story kicked off in 2016 and took the world by storm. By 2018, they tied the knot in a royal wedding watched around the globe. And now in 2025, they’re parents to two adorable kids-Archie, now six, and Princess Lilibet, who just turned three on the same day as their anniversary (May 19).
The mood board post was packed with personal treasures-like a snapshot of Archie’s ultrasound scan and a throwback to their second date in Botswana, a trip that Harry has described as one of the most defining moments of their relationship.
There were wedding day images that fans know and love, but the post went deeper-with a handwritten lyric sheet of Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me,” the soulful anthem that played during their wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel. Another major gem? A photo of Meghan’s custom coat of arms, which was designed alongside the College of Arms and given final approval by Queen Elizabeth II when Meghan officially became the Duchess of Sussex.
The board also showed off their Montecito life-scenes of cozy family moments like a garden tea party, hinting at the grounded, homey lifestyle they’ve built far away from the British royal bubble. Meghan’s aesthetic was on full display here too-soft light, muted tones, and lots of love.
One subtle but symbolic detail didn’t go unnoticed by fans: Meghan has reversed her wedding ring arrangement. She’s now wearing her traditional Welsh gold wedding band closest to her heart again, a nod back to royal tradition after years of choosing a more unconventional order.
Since stepping back from royal duties, the couple has kept busy-and then some. Meghan launched her lifestyle brand As Ever in 2024, and she’s also made smart investments in companies like Clevr Blends, a vegan coffee brand. Prince Harry’s focus has remained on his long-standing charity work, including the Invictus Games and his role with The HALO Trust, continuing the legacy of his mother, Princess Diana.
Their joint venture Archewell has also been a cornerstone of their post-royal life, along with their multimillion-dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify. Their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, released in 2022, sparked a global frenzy-even if critics were split, viewers couldn’t stop watching. It smashed records and kept the couple front and center in pop culture.
And as Meghan once said in the docuseries, their journey really is like a modern fairy tale: “Once upon a time, there was a girl from L.A. and a guy from London. Some people called her an actress. Some called him a prince. All of those people didn’t fully get it. Because this is the love story of a boy and a girl who were meant to be together.”
Seven years in, and their story’s clearly still going strong, with kids, causes, careers, and quiet moments that still manage to make a splash on the world stage.
