Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are officially divorced.
Three months after Nicole filed to end their marriage, the former couple quietly finalized everything. According to legal documents obtained by E! News, a judge signed off on the settlement in Tennessee on January 6. No drama in court. No public showdown. Just paperwork and signatures.
The documents show that both Nicole and Keith agreed to walk away without asking for spousal or child support. Each of them will also cover their own legal fees. Clean break, at least on paper.
As for money and property, everything from homes and cars to bank accounts and personal belongings will be split in a way both sides are okay with. Nothing contested. Nothing dragged out.
They’ve also worked out custody for their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Under the agreement, Nicole will spend the majority of the year with the girls – about 306 days. Keith will have them every other weekend, adding up to 59 days a year. This isn’t new. It mirrors the parenting plan Nicole filed when she first submitted the divorce papers.
There was supposed to be a court hearing, but Nicole waived her appearance. Both she and Keith agreed not to dig into each other’s finances or request formal discovery. No interrogations. No depositions. Just an amicable settlement and moving on.
Back in September, E! News reported that the two had been living apart since early summer. Sources said the separation was Keith’s decision, while Nicole had been trying to make things work. After nearly two decades together, that couldn’t have been easy.
Over the years, both have spoken openly about how intense their connection was from the start. Nicole once said she knew Keith was the love of her life almost instantly. Keith, too, has described meeting her as a turning point – the kind where everything either falls into place or falls apart.
Now, that chapter is officially closed.
No public statements yet. No social media posts. Just two people who shared a long life together choosing to end it quietly, with respect, and without turning it into a spectacle.
And honestly, in Hollywood, that alone says a lot.
