Travis Scott isn’t just flirting with WWE anymore, he wants to go all in.
The rapper, 33, stunned WWE fans when he interfered in the Night 2 main event of WrestleMania 41, helping John Cena take down Cody Rhodes and become a 17-time world champion, officially breaking Ric Flair’s legendary record. Now, according to WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H, Scott’s ready to make wrestling more than a one-off stunt. He wants to do this full time.
In a post-WrestleMania press conference, Triple H revealed what went down backstage after Scott’s chaotic run-in. “He walked to the back and he said, ‘Dude, I’m serious, this is my full-time job now,’” Triple H said, laughing. “And two seconds later I said, ‘See you at work tomorrow.’ He loves it. He’s like a kid at Christmas.”
Scott, who performed under his real name Jacques Webster during the event, was part of a high-stakes storyline where Cena turned heel and joined forces with The Rock and Travis to take down Rhodes. It all started back at Elimination Chamber in March when the trio bloodied Rhodes after Cena’s shock betrayal. At WrestleMania 41, the revenge was swift, Cody dropped Travis with a brutal Cross Rhodes. But it wasn’t enough. Travis’ interference gave Cena the opening he needed to cheat his way to a win.
And Travis didn’t just play it safe. He took real bumps in the ring, something not every celebrity dares to do. According to Triple H, that willingness says everything about his respect for the sport. “He’s out there getting hit by Cross Rhodes… that’s not helpful to his music career,” he joked. “But it’s all coming from a place of respect.”
Scott’s enthusiasm has been growing for months. He made his WWE debut in January during Raw‘s Netflix premiere and even contributed the new theme song, 4×4. Now, with WrestleMania behind him, there’s talk that a full match could be next. Triple H teased, “Could we see him step in the ring? Just gotta tune in.”
From the outside, this might look like a marketing gimmick. But to those behind the scenes, it’s something more. “He’s one of the biggest music stars in the world,” Triple H said. “But backstage, he’s a kid in a candy store.”
So is Travis Scott going to become the next Logan Paul of WWE? Too soon to say. But one thing is clear: he’s not just showing up to perform, he’s ready to wrestle.
And in a business where passion is everything, that might just make him the most dangerous new name in the game.
