After months of rumors and soft launches, the “WAP” rapper finally confirmed the romance on June 1. In a photo posted to her feed, Cardi and Diggs are seen wrapped up on a yacht, staring into each other’s eyes like no one else exists. And if that wasn’t enough of a statement, the carousel also included a video of Cardi giving Diggs a lap dance as he smacks her bare butt, with a cheeky “Chapter 5… Hello Chapter 6” caption to seal the deal.
Let’s be real: subtle was never her thing.
So, Who Is Stefon Diggs?
Stefon Diggs, 31, is best known for his speed, swagger, and jaw-dropping plays on the football field. He’s a wide receiver currently with the New England Patriots (formerly of the Bills), and now he’s Cardi B’s headline-making new flame.
The two were first spotted together back in February 2025 in NYC and Miami, but fans weren’t sure what to make of it, was it a fling or something real? That question pretty much answered itself when they showed up courtside at a Knicks game in May, holding hands and looking very couple-y. Now, it’s confirmed.
Timing? Not Exactly Subtle Either.
This relationship reveal comes in the middle of Cardi’s messy divorce from Offset. The former couple share three children, and their split has been anything but quiet.
Just a few days before she dropped the Diggs post, Cardi went on a rant during an X Spaces session, claiming Offset has barely seen their youngest child, Blossom, since her birth. Her words? Brutal. “I want you to die slow,” she said, making it crystal clear there’s zero love lost between them right now.
Offset, for his part, seemed unbothered, at first. In April, he commented “I’m happy for her !!” under a post about Cardi’s rumored relationship. But after her Instagram soft launch and yacht PDA with Diggs, Offset posted (and deleted) a shady X post that read: “Good roll out n PR.”

Cardi’s not just flaunting the romance, she’s bathing in it. One of her Instagram videos shows an entire room stacked with bouquets of roses and giant teddy bears, all presumably from Diggs. She’s seen wearing a “Mama” hat, smiling like someone who just got out of a toxic situation and into a better one.
And fans are loving it. Comments poured in with support: “Cardi I looove this HAPPY ON YOU!!!” wrote rapper Da Brat. Singer Kehlani chimed in: “That’s my girl.”
And What About Her Ex, Kath Ebbs?
ICYMI, Cardi B was also recently linked to Kath Ebbs, an Australian actor who identifies as nonbinary. The two split earlier this year, and while their breakup didn’t make as many waves as her Offset saga, it was still public, and messy. Ebbs posted a TikTok saying they were “humiliated” by how things ended, claiming Cardi dumped them at a party… with Diggs in the next room.
Cardi has since clarified on a podcast that she did not cheat on Ebbs, calling their version of events “misleading.”

Too soon to say, but it’s clear this is more than a fling. Diggs has met Cardi’s parents, shared game nights with her dad, and even popped up on her Snapchat with cuddles and kisses. Cardi says she’s happy, and if her Instagram is anything to go by, that’s not just talk.
