Renowned drum & bass duo Annix returned to Monstercat today, alongside London-based vocalist Maksim MC for their lethal new single, “Droids.”
Straight out of a sci-fi thriller, the track combines Annix’s signature subs with an aggressive jump-up beat that beckons an underground sound system. Maksim MC drops into the mix, slicing through the foreboding abyss with his razor-sharp rap verses. “Droids” coexists as a hard-hitting club cut that shines a light on the duo’s decade-long legacy, as well as a grave warning not to succumb to a mindless society.
