A self-taught DJ, composer, producer, singer-songwriter and label owner, Ashibah has been rapidly turning heads beyond her Brazilian roots, earning releases on global tastemaker imprints including Sony Music, D4 D4NCE, DFTD, Kittball Get Physical, Solotoko, Spinnin’ Records, Anjunabeats and more.
Born in Cairo, Egypt and raised in Denmark whilst calling Brazil her second home, Ashibah’s rich cultural background paired with a dedicated work ethic has seen her develop her own signature house sound. Impressively weaving her own vocals in productions and sets, she has now found fans in Vintage Culture, Nora En Pure, Ferreck Dawn, Monki, Sam Divine, Gorgon City and others.
Over the past year, Ashibah’s appeal has only continued to grow with support from BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance and Kiss FM. Her ear for a club anthem has also seen her land multiple Beatport Chart spots including We Found Love (Beatport no.2) and Devotion (Beatport no.4) whilst Intro Rework amassed over 23M streams on Spotify alone.
Now, Ashibah drops Get 2 Know Me on Nothing Else Matters. Providing a flawless re-sing of St Germain’s Rose Rouge, Ashibah transforms it into her own. Making for a funky dance floor cut that weaves stunning synth structures, Ashibah adds another gem to her glowing catalogue for 2022.
