A Liverpool trio named Cahill returns with a full-on festive party anthem that shows that Christmas tracks do not necessarily have to be “cheesy” in order to be good – in reality, they can just “slap”! The group’s new release, “Cahill’s Christmas Vol.1,” is a pulsating house track that turns Christmas favorites into full-on pumping festive party tracks.
Renowned for their capacity to breathe an endless amount of energy into any song that they feature on, Cahill comes at the holiday season with the same no-nonsense approach that has made their distinctive mark for the past nineteen years. This new offering album is comprised fully of remixed holiday tracks that have all been infused with energetic beats, euphoric highs, and a distinctly modern house feel that is perfectly suited for this modern era of electronic music.
This has already reached the stage of having a life of its own on TikTok, where over 12,000 videos have been created using Cahill’s holiday music. The way in which these artists have mixed classic holiday musical elements with club music has definitely helped the trio appeal to a whole new generation of music lovers from around the world. One of the singles from the project has definitely hit it big on TikTok, keeping Cahill in the modern scene of dance music.
The group, comprised of Anton Powers, Scott Rosser, and Tim Condran, named after the ever-favorite Everton Football Club player Tim Cahill, initially gained recognition in 2007 with their hit single “Trippin’ On You,” that featured vocals from Nikki Belle. The song stormed Liverpool’s club scene before making it to the monumental Clubland 13.
This momentum only continued as the track was taken on by 3 Beat Blue, the Liverpool-based label founded by Powers and Condran, resulting in its official release through 3 Beat Blue/All Around the World. With high levels of playlist support by BBC Radio 1, Galaxy, and MTV Dance, ‘Trippin’ On You’ quickly became a nationwide anthem – and even managed to attract the attention of WAGs such as Abbey Clancy, Coleen Rooney, Alex Curran, and Elen Rives.
With their album, Cahill’s Christmas Volume 1, this group of artists never ceases to show that they know exactly the right way to move with the times with their ever-current, danceable, and impossible-to-ignore holiday music. From the dance floor to your social networks, the takeover by Cahill Christmas has officially begun.
