With a full live album that reached its release date on 21 November 2025, Camo & Krooked introduced the visionary Red Bull Symphonic – Johann Strauss 2025 Edition to the world audience.
Following two completely sold-out nights at the historic Wiener Konzerthaus in September, this project continues to set a benchmark as one of the most ambitious and genre-defying drum & bass recordings ever captured.
For well over a decade, Camo & Krooked has personified the progressive approach to drum & bass. From career-defining moments via Hospital Records and RAM, to shaping the sound of their own label MODUS, time and again Camo & Krooked have taken the genre to new heights. Red Bull Symphonic perhaps represents their most audacious leap forward yet, marrying that signature cinematic bass energy with timeless, classic composition from Johann Strauss II, rearranged by legend Christian Kolonovits and performed live alongside Wiener Symphoniker. Strauss classics such as The Blue Danube and Vienna Blood come alive in this modern D&B vision.
Reflecting on that past project, the duo said the fan reaction to the shows was overwhelming and made clear that this experience needed to be preserved for the fans everywhere. The chemistry of Strauss’s legendary compositions with their own high-impact drum & bass sound, together with the energy from performing with the symphony, was a musical moment they wanted to spread across the world.
This live album features an all-star lineup of collaborators and drum & bass legends including Mefjus, Noisia, Wilkinson, Metrik, and John B. Further guesting vocals come courtesy of Mira Lu Kovacs, EXEA, Carinthian Drumline, and the V.O.I.C.E Choir. The tracklist pairs Strauss staples with Camo & Krooked fan favorites, including symphonic versions of Aurora, Atlas, Loving You Is Easy, and Nebula, as well as exclusive orchestral versions composed especially for the occasion.
This long-standing relationship with UKF continues to play an enormous role in amplifying the artistic evolution of Camo & Krooked, and their collaborations-particularly those joint singles with Mefjus, including Sientelo, U, and No Way Out-remain some of the most celebrated releases on the platform. More recently, their symphonic reworks have included Persian March (Red Bull Symphonic Edition) and All Night x Éljen a Magyar (Red Bull Symphonic Edition), further showing their commitment to boundary-pushing. You can also watch the full Red Bull Symphonic show via UKF On Air on YouTube, and it cements their position as one of drum & bass’s most visually and musically creative forces.
The live album is now available through major streaming services. Red Bull Symphonic – Johann Strauss 2025 Edition is a powerful statement in celebration of artistic collaboration, respect for cultural heritage, and the limitless possibilities of modern bass music.
