Global superstar, Doja Cat has unveiled new single ‘Need To Know’, from her forthcoming album Planet Her out June 25th.
Juxtaposing punchy trap snares with ethereal melodies, ‘Need To Know’ sees Doja in a typically sultry mood as she pairs playful lyrics with head-turning vocals. The track will be released as an instant grat with the pre-order of her forthcoming album Planet Her, out June 25th.
The LP will also feature ‘Kiss Me More’, Doja’s recent collaboration with fellow pop icon SZA, a single that is currently sitting at #3 in the UK Singles charts and has amassed over 300 million Spotify streams.
Starting out in 2013, the LA native began cultivating an organic online fanbase, posting her first track at just 16-years-old and eventually building a large following via her Soundcloud page.
This digital fan-base helped Doja reach the masses, capturing the internet’s attention with every release. Fast forward seven years and in 2020 she took home the ‘Best New Artist’ award at the MTV VMAs, the MTV EMAs and the AMAs (where she additionally won the ‘Best Female Soul/R&B Artist’ award). She has also been nominated for three Grammys, four American Music Awards, four MTV VMA Awards, two BET Awards and two People’s Choice Awards.
‘Need To Know’ is Doja’s final single ahead of the Planet Her album, which will feature The Weeknd, Young Thug, Ariana Grande and more.
