After making their separate Monstercat debuts last year, Belgian melodic house producer Dokho and Swedish progressive house producer Banaati returned to the label, collaborating on their beautiful four-track EP, ‘Dream Cycle.’
Each track is a journey through soothing atmospheres and vibrant soundscapes that envelop listeners in their calming aura. The lush chords, angelic vocals, and soft percussion in “Dream Cycle” are reminiscient of the title itself, while “Espérance” aims to capture the hopeful and somber emotions felt during times of sadness. The warm pads and bright melodies reflect the moment you find your way out of darkness and into the light.
Dokho shares, “When I started my new ‘Dokho’ project in 2020, I listened to a lot of melodic house tracks and that’s how I discovered Benjamin’s (Banaati) music. I really enjoyed his sound during the first listen. We quickly became friends as we liked each other’s music and, after a lot of chatting, we decided to work together. We are now happy to present you with our first collaboration. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!”
Banaati adds, “Last autumn, I was working on this very dreamy and atmospheric idea and I was also chatting a lot with Dokho at the time. Since Dokho is known for his lush and atmospheric sounds, I kindly asked him to contribute his magic to it, and he did! The dreamy and lush chords, combined with the vocal phrases and groovy beat create the perfect song to dream away to! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did when writing these songs.”
