LA-based DJ and producer Durante shares the first remix from his debut album ‘Enter’, courtesy of British electronic artist Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
Originally from Oxford, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs made waves with his acclaimed debut album ‘Trouble’ in 2012, followed by a series of successful releases such as the recent collaboration ‘Heartbreak’ with Bonobo and ‘Unfold’ alongside Porter Robinson. Throughout his illustrious career, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has earned acclaim from NME, Mixmag, and DJ Mag and has received two GRAMMY nominations. In his remix of ‘Ancora’, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs blends the original melodic hook with a pulsing bassline and percussion-laden grooves, crafting an uptempo and club-ready adaptation.
Hailing from a small Italian village outside of Florence, Durante (aka Kevin Durante) began his musical journey in 2006. Drawn to the sweet spots where house and techno genres intersect, Durante’s versatile sound has seen him release with Anjunadeep, Armada, W&O Street Records, Shall Not Fade, and Amtrac’s imprint Openers. Esteemed artists including Bonobo, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Joris Voorn have praised Durante’s work, and he has collaborated with the likes of Diplo & Aluna on ‘Forget About Me’, Amtrac on ‘Gather’ and 9th House on ‘Ruling Planet,’ as well as remixing Cassian, Booka Shade, TWO LANES and more.
In April 2024, 18 years after starting his musical journey, Durante shared his debut album, ‘Enter,’ on Anjunadeep. Inspired by the concept of portals and multiple dimensions, ‘Enter’ showcases his eclectic sound that has developed from Kevin’s diverse pool of musical influences, featuring Duke Ellington, classic Italo-disco, and early Cocoon records.

Across 13 compelling tracks, Durante explores themes of self-discovery, acceptance, and love. The album features collaborations with Montréal-based producer and live act CRi, American vocalist Nathan Nicholson, Australian singer-songwriter Running Touch, Californian songstress and producer HANA, and London-based vocalist SOHN.
To date, ‘Enter’ has amassed over 4m streams and earned airplay on SiriusXM Chill, SiriusXM Diplo’s Revolution, and BBC Radio 1. Esteemed DJs, including Pete Tong, MEDUZA, Joris Voorn, and John Digweed, have championed the album, while Mixmag Italy, Forbes Magazine, and Acid Stag have praised Durante’s artistry.
