Classically trained from the age of 5, Irish singer/songwriter Fia Moon has unveiled her latest release, the brilliantly soulful – Settle Down.

Renowned for her honest and heartfelt lyrics and inspired by names like Dua Lipa, Jhene Aiko, & Banks, Fia’s sound was heavily influenced by her parents who were also jazz and classical musicians, as she grew up listening to the likes of Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra.

Catching the attention of London-based producer Dan Dare (Charli XCX, Marina & The Diamonds, Wiley, etc), and Ryan Keen (Ed Sheeran, Nina Nesbitt), Fia has been basing herself between London and LA ever since, with ‘Settle Down’ following the success of her 2018 debut ‘The Fall’, which describes her longing for a sense of home.

“I’m a really sensitive person, sometimes to a fault,” added Fia. “If what I’m writing about isn’t directly about my own experience, it’s inspired by friends and family. My dad trained classically too and would sing all day every day around the house so I definitely picked up on that.”

A forward-thinking and organic artist who continues who rapid rise, Fia Moon’s ‘Settle Down’ is a rich and melodic embodiment of the Irish vocalist’s sonic diversity, and is out now.
