Since exploding onto the music industry at the young age of 15, Franko Bennett has been making monumental strides, thanks to his unique records that contain influences from many musical genres.
The versatile musician, who can turn his hand to playing instruments including the guitar, bass guitar and drums, is a well respected engineer in the game, and his songwriting talents have seen him work with many of the industrys major labels as well as gaining radio support from tastemakers like: Annie Mac, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Kent – monumental achievements for any industry professional.
Adding to this, he is known to be the mastermind behind many Indie, Rock, Pop, Electronic, House, RnB and Grime productions – showcasing his natural talent for song writing and producing. As well as spending vast amounts of hours in the studio, Franko Bennett can be found in many of the UKs premier venues, supporting A-List acts such as: Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party, Pull Tiger Tail and Twin Atlantic – gigs many aspiring artist dream of accomplishing.
In the Dark is Franko Bennetts latest offering, continuing his string of remarkable feats. Frankos immensely soulful and touching vocals stand out throughout the whole song, accompanied by mesmerising instrumentals. A minimalistic piano arrangement blends perfectly with the refined string carpets, whilst a mellow drum groove serves to lock in all the elements. Whilst the record is crafted to perfection all throughout, the powerful choruses towards the end are a true highlight, sending shivers down the listeners spine.
