With a tender age of 21 years, young GIOVANNI BATTISTA from Palermo was definitely born with disco, funk & boogie in his veins.
As we ask him about the origin of the just given styles, he reckons to be a reborn child of the 70s. According to his statement, today’s music industry has drifted off into an ocean of disorientation, and as disco hasn’t by far been exploited yet, he’s more than willing to deliver first class nu disco tunes to “bring life back to music”, just as his idols Daft Punk used to sing on one of their recent songs.
Giovanni has set himself the objective of producing nu disco songs with living legends such as Kathy Sledge or James “D-Train” Williams, and promised himself to stay faithful to his style until the end of his days.
Borrowing inspiration from this thought, his new single “Still Want Your Love” is what we would like to call a seminal pop-house hit. With its early 90s pop influence complimented by soul stirring melodies and vocals, the tune is tailor made for a tequila by the beach.
