UK DJ and Producer GotSome returns with follow up single to ‘Plastic On Acid’. ‘Poppin’ feat. Big Freedia is out now on Ultra Records.

Calling on New Orleans Bounce icon Big Freedia, GotSome serves up a bass roller that is destined for club sets worldwide. The lyrics “if you ain’t got no hater you ain’t poppin” urge you forward and set the tone for a record that packs a punch throughout.

Adam Gorsky AKA GotSome has been on an upward trajectory since his arrival on the international circuit in 2014. In a short space of time, he has clocked up a series of achievements and career highlights that place him at the forefront of this generation of talented British producers.

From the early days of bass-heavy, dance floor destroyers such as ‘Bassline’ (Defected Records) – championed by BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits and Annie Mac – to MTA Records single ‘Vibe Out’ (a collaborative track with Wiley) and releases on Monki’s Zoo Records (‘Tell You Why’ EP) and Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint (I Don’t Know’) which received support across the board at Radio 1 from MistaJam, DJ Target,Toddla T and Jamz Supernova – GotSome has grafted from the get go.

Fast forward a few years and the Bristol-based DJ and Producer, inspired by his house music roots, has had further releases on the likes of Toolroom, Nervous, Club Sweat, Street King, Armada Deep, Big Beat & now Ultra Records under his belt – not forgetting being called on to officially remix tracks for the likes of Basement Jaxx, Róisín Murphy, Craig David, Sigala, Wilkinson, Sub Focus and more recently Conducta &Not3s and Mabel.

Whether it’s throwing down dynamic sets at the world’s best clubs and festivals – Amnesia in Ibiza, Glastonbury, Bestival SW4, Fabric, Warehouse Project, Arcadia, Motion, Hideout, Snowbombing, AMP Lost and Found, Boomtown & Love Saves The Day to name a few – or spending hours on end-tweaking his unstoppable productions in the studio, GotSome is a force to be reckoned with whose sharp and continued rise shows no signs of letting up.
